Book Talk Through Skype

Deborah Baldwin book talk
I GIVE BOOK TALKS

Teachers, Parents and Librarians–

Would you like to have a real live author speak to your readers? I’m yours through Skype! Contact me at dhcbaldwin@gmail.com.

My Skype presentation is always FREE.

Several weeks before our Skype, I send a book order form, so your school library has a chance to buy several of my books ahead of time. This gives your class time to read and study the books, and think up lots of great questions to ask me when I SKYPE in with Bumblung Bea.

BUYING DIRECT from me offers the school and the parents a special discount, an autograph, and much cheaper postage.

I’ll email you a few weeks ahead of our Skype appointment to ask questions if you or answer any you have of me. Generally, I read from the book, share about my writing  and answer questions the students may have.

I have provided several book talks in the mid west and I must say, they are fun for me.  Since I’ve been a teacher for nearly forty years, talking to students of all ages is easy for me.  I truly enjoy them.

If you don’t know much about Bumbling Bea, here is a quick description:

Beatrice thinks she has no acting talent but that doesn’t stop her from auditioning for the annual middle school play. Easy! Except Michiko, a new girl from Japan, shows up and ruins everything! So begins Beatrice’s diabolical plan to scare away Michiko. But Michiko has goals of her own with no plans to leave soon. Beatrice is sometimes sarcastic, sometimes very funny and always honest. A great book for those who love theater and every part of it–the good, the bad and the crazy.
